Trauma, Burnout & Psychological Safety in Film

Trauma-informed therapy, speaking, and consultation for film
and entertainment professionals navigating high-pressure environments,
burnout, rejection, difficult material, and psychological safety.

FOR CAST • CREW • CREATIVES • PRODUCTIONS

Actors, filmmakers, directors, producers, writers, production professionals, emerging filmmakers, creative organizations, film schools, festivals, and production teams.

The people creating the story matter too.

Creative work can be meaningful and demanding at the same time.

Film and entertainment can involve long hours, career uncertainty, repeated rejection, intense performance expectations, complex power dynamics, travel, public scrutiny, and exposure to emotionally difficult material. Those realities can affect mental health even when someone is still functioning at a high level.

This page gives cast, crew, creatives, and productions a trauma-informed place to begin.

“You can love the work and still need space to process what the work—and the industry around it—asks you to carry.”

Three Ways to Work Together

THERAPY

Trauma-informed individual therapy for film and entertainment professionals located in Arizona. Areas may include trauma, burnout, anxiety, identity, grief, relationship strain, career uncertainty, rejection, and high-pressure work environments. Therapy is a clinical service and is separate from speaking or production consultation.

SPEAKING & WORKSHOPS

Keynotes, panels, workshops, and facilitated conversations for festivals, film organizations, schools, professional groups, and production teams. Topics can be tailored to cast, crew, emerging filmmakers, leadership, or mixed audiences.

CONSULTATION

Trauma-informed educational consultation for productions and organizations seeking stronger mental-health awareness, communication, boundaries, and psychological-safety practices. Consultation is not psychotherapy, emergency response, or a substitute for clinical care.
